Honk Honk
But where did it begin? And who are those that played and still play their part? Not so simple questions but, best answered if we start To consider who we are, where we’re from, and not just the building we are living in.
We learn from the wild geese that wing through our spring time sky That our actions and re-actions are not so strange at all. Because though we move forever forward from the safety of the shore A homeward information loop saves us from a fall. And we discover too, that reaching back to our first story is central to our core.
Looking back and homeward is a natural thing to do Connecting with the cycles of nature offers us that first clue. About learning and leadership, as a Wild Goose slips a peloton-echelon heave; The Wild Goose calls in voices, so excited and shrill she sings That she is like our mothers mother calling, even as we leave. Over and over the same sounds echo it’s the family way things.
